Health & wellness information is available at the Patient Education/Patient Health Library located in the VA Medical Center. Patient Education offers Patient Health Classes and a Patient Health Library for veteran patients, their family members, and staff.
Patient Health Library is open Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm
Classes:
We offer classes on: diabetes, heart disease management, diet & weight control, tobacco-free and hearing.
Our library offers:
- access to the Internet, computer databases, and CD ROM programs through three computers
- a comfortable, quiet space with seating and tables
- books, videos, health magazines, models and charts
- personal staff to help you find information
If you cannot come to the La Jolla medical center, we may be able to send you the information you need by mail.
