New incentives with the VA San Diego Heath Promotion and Disease Prevention (HPDP) program supports Veterans with resources and training that motivates and educates Veterans on living healthier lifestyles while managing their health.
"Evidence shows that healthy behaviors, such as being physically active and making wise food choices, contributes to the delay or prevention of many chronic health care conditions and diseases,” said Mary Kodiath, San Diego HPDP program manager. “So, if we could prevent diabetes, heart disease, and strokes, wouldn’t you be interested?”
